"Ms. Brown, hang in there!" I vaguely heard a mans voice near me as I tried to open my eyes.
I must have been going in and out of consciousness as I think I was put on a gurney and someone was still talking to me. Then there was a light in my eyes and more talking.
I tried to swat it away as I looked around and realised I was now in an ambulance before darkness took me again.
This time when I opened my eyes I could tell I was in a hospital room. The beauty of being a Brown, no staying in emergency or waiting for a room.
I looked around as my eyes slowly focused more and more to see the doctor at the end of the bed with a nurse beside her. She gave me a big smile before doing the routine questions and checks.
