I really, really wasn’t expecting that and it hit hard.
I held my head up as I tried so hard not to let it get to me and make me sob like an i***t in the middle of the restaurant. I looked around and noticed were the toilets were needing to calm myself down.
I was already the laughing stock of the restaurant, I didn’t want to add to my humiliation.
I got up and started walking to back of the restaurant were the toilets were. I was trying so hard not to look at anyone or feel their eyes on me that I nearly walked straight into Troy.
