Addison’s POV The next morning at school Gabby was acting distant and it didn’t take to be Einstein to figure out why. “Come on Gabs, it is not that bad,” I tried. “I know you say that but to me, it kind of is,” she wined. “This will be even worse when you leave.” “One month and you’ll join me at the new school. One month.” She gave me a look, a look I did not like and one I knew all too well. “It is one month, right?” I asked. “Gabby?” I pestered once she didn't answer me. “My dad is not sure whether or not I should go,” she sighed. “He thinks this school is good for me.” “Like hell, it is,” I exclaimed. “The teachers are corrupt and will easily turn on you, the students are all brainwashed idiots only thinking of one thing and not to be mean, but no one here likes either of us
