A breath escaped my lips, I shifted uncomfortably from my position, I didn’t think she would ask me this, especially after she brushed it off when Enzo mentioned it, Enzo has no idea we have not told her the entire truth, I had to tell him about him after we left, he gave me a lecture on how I’m going to break her trust if I don’t tell her the truth.
I don’t want her father and worse I don’t want her hating on me, Enzo told me it’s not my fault if her father chooses to hide the truth if she asks anything I should be able to tell her something, it’s not my story to tell, that’s always what I told myself, yet I am scared, I am scared hiding this would take her away from me.
