CHASE
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon ng makita kong wala na sa tabi ko si Sofie. I instantly jumped out of bed and dashed to the bathroom to check on her, only to be disappointed because she was not there.
I felt a pinched pain in my chest. I wasn't sure what I was feeling right now, but the pounding thump of my heart gave me another idea. I admit that I'm terrified that I might not see her again if she decides not to come to the office today.
Dammit, she might have been annoyed with me last night, but she didn't say a word. It was my fault because I carried her on top of the bed. I don't let her sleep on the sofa without giving her the option to refuse me.
I don't usually treat women this way, but Sofie is an exception. I can't get rid of the strange feeling I feel every time she's around
