We had been traveling for seven hours now. We had been through some very rough terrain that was hard to navigate, even in our shifted forms. The wolves were beginning to slow up through each mountain pass. We would need to stop and rest soon.
We left the Kingdom just after five this morning. Everyone ate a hearty breakfast to ensure we had the necessary energy to make it through the mountain range. We decided to take the long way around. We did this because we would be less likely to be spotted by anyone scouting the area. It was the safest option we had by far.
I was behind Everest as we were climbing up the rocky side of the mountain. It was at this moment I was thankful for all the training I had been apart of for endurance. It wasn't easy but I was able to do it and keep up with Eve
