ALDRIC’S POV
It’s late. Almost midnight, and I am in bed alone. Well, almost alone, I have Janice cuddling with me. I would be out of my head with worry if it weren’t for Breelynn and Galina allowing us to put the tracker app on their phones. I followed the little blue dot for most of their drive home, and once they got to the gate, that is when I was finally able to relax.
The bedroom door opens, and seeing Bree walk in makes my heart skip a beat. There is so much going on, and I am being pulled in so many different directions I keep forgetting that we aren’t bonded and that her wolf is silent. I am beginning to wonder if this is how it will always be, even when we disband the Elders, and we are free of their meddling.
