BREELYNN’S POV
“ALDRIC?????”
The fog disperses, and I am back at the clearing; the fire pit is still going, but it is just embers. Neither Galina nor ChiChi is there. My heart is still pounding from fear.
“Bree, Baby, are you okay?” Aldric’s sensual voice comes from behind me and pulls at my soul. I turn to see him running toward me from the path that leads back to the store. Stunned to see him, I look to see if Galina or ChiChi is following him.
“Where did you come from?” He doesn’t even slow down as he makes his way directly to me and puts both hands on my upper arms. His eyes are searching for any sign of an injury as he looks me up and down. I still can’t believe he is here. Galina must have told him that we were coming here.
