BREELYNN’S POV
I am cold and damp from lying on the ground. I’m not sure when I fell asleep or how long I have been out, but my muscles are sore, and I have a slight headache. I stand up, brushing the leaves and debris off of me, when I hear the crunching of footsteps coming my way.
“Aldric?” I call out.
