Zephyrus’ POV I cautiously inched towards the closed door and a sense of dread clutched at my heart. The clawing sounds from inside became clearer with every step I took toward it. Now I was sure someone was trapped inside. “Be careful, Zephyrus!” Lena’s panic-stricken voice echoed from the entrance. “I’m fine!” I comforted her when a growl erupted from the other side of the closed door. So, it was an animal trapped inside. I didn’t fear anyone. The animal trapped inside couldn’t be more ferocious than I was! I kicked open the door and waited for it to attack me.
