Felixe’s rejection destroyed my will to live. After returning home, I trudged over to my room and locked myself in. I knew Zephyrus had left to get Lena from Hazel’s house. This time, it didn’t affect me. Lena was lucky my brother loved her so much. I was doomed forever, and it was useless to take out my grudge on her.
I didn’t want to fight anymore if I were to live here all my life.
Tears fell from my eyes as I stared into the darkness outside, the snow-covered lake Lavin stretching for a mile in our backyard. I had so many childhood memories with my twin here.
