Zephyrus’ POV
I left the spy girl under Alexandrios’ care and headed to the prison to wrap up the unfinished work I had there. I had to reach the root of this. How could they house the underage female spy in the male prison?
I called Stavros and asked him to reach the place immediately. He had some explanation to do tonight.
I stormed into the prison complex in a state of fury. The guards trembled at the sight of me, having never expected me to return! Now in Lena’s absence, I could rip their hearts out for what they did to an underage girl.
“Call all the guards here. Where’s Brutus? Call him right now!” I paced the floor of the prison office waiting for Brutus, our old superintendent, who had been here since my father’s time.
“Brutus hasn’t reported for almost a month, Alpha.”
