"AHHHH!"
The shrill voice of the girl echoed through the forest as she continued to scream. I tried to calm her down, but she went even more ballistic.
"I'm not going to hurt-"
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
I huffed when I saw the girl starting to crawl away from me. Her legs couldn't seem to support her anymore. However, she's nothing but determined. She just continued escaping, all while crying.
With a quick sidestep, I blocked her path, and she screamed again.
"Look, I want to help," I said, then I remembered the candy Malik gave me this morning and grabbed it from my pocket.
"Here, if you'll be a good girl, I'll give you this treat." I opened my palm to show her the candy, and the girl c****d her head.
"What's that?" The poor soul asked.
"It's candy! It tastes really good too." I sigh
