I screamed at the top of my lungs and tried to run after him. I've been living in this manor for several days now. After Alex basically fired me, Malik immediately reminded me of the offer Mr. Crows extended.
I was hesitant to take it since I still had to hide that I'm human. However, Malik convinced me that taking it was better than looking for a new job that I'm not even sure will come. Besides, my safety would be at risk if I decided to live alone.
Eventually, I conceded, and Malik whisked me away just a few hours after that towards this remote, beautiful island. Mr. Crows called this his Eternal Manor, and I had to stifle from giggling when he said that to me. Considering that he also named his shop Eternal Crimson, I could see that there's an obsession.
