It's been more than two weeks and I had not seen or heard of Blake. He just vanished into thin air after that morning. I see my aunt talking to him sometimes though. So I am relieved that he is fine. But he had not texted me or called. Even I did not do either of them, except yearning for him and his whereabouts.
It seemed the little talk we besties had, helped Kathy. She was beaming with happiness. We caught up a few more times after that and as Becca had promised, she now picks up our call most of the time.
