The next morning Brenda finished her food with gratifying enthusiasm as she was very happy to see Stephen sitting beside her.
So far so good Stephen thought and crossed his fingers.
Brenda was in her element, she literally glowed and was high spirited that morning. Stephen was in a very bad mood because penny had to stay back to look after another patient as one of the caretaker at homes had to go for some urgent work. The doctor had requested her to stay back and look after the patient.
So Penny had stayed back in the home for the whole night and Stephen had not seen her when he had woken up in the morning as well. He had planned so many things for her that night, but it was all ruined. He was frustrated to the edge.
