Healing Hands

Alpha DeAndre POV

Me and Toya had both stopped walking and stared at each other, I mindlinked her - 'Did he just say he felt sparks every time he touches her? How the hell is that possible?!' I asked her.

'That's what I heard him say too Bae. I have no idea what the hell he's feeling but it's waaay to early for him to be feeling sparks.. isn't it? He's not of age yet!' She says looking bewildered and confused. 'He hasn't even shifted yet so how can he feel sparks?! I don't think he's explaining hisself right.' I say. I walk over and kneeled down in front of my Son.

"Zavier, how long have you felt these.. fireworks from Abijah?" I ask him, I looked down at his hands before staring into his eyes. He seemed to be in deep thought then it looked like he remembered something, he blinked then said, "Since the Ball when I first touched her. I always feel all sparkly when I touch her!" He has this huge grin on his face and I hear his chest rumble slightly. Toya has her hand on my shoulder and asks him, "Zavier.. have you shifted into your wolf yet?"

I look up at her briefly then back to him and swallow, holding my breath.

"No, not yet. But I talk to Tank all the time. All we talk about is Ms. J!" He is beaming talking about her and I see his eyes swirling, which means he's talking with Tank right now.

"Zavier has Tank ever called Abijah his.. Mate before?" Toya asked him before I could. His smile faded just the tiniest bit and he replies,

"No, but he says he wish she was his Mate! Because she's beautiful and cool and strong and smells super sweet!"

He grinned even wider. Whew! OK I can breath now. We get home and have to finish up the planning for Zavier's 7th birthday party next Saturday. Zavier requested that Abijah be his guest of honor if she's out of the hospital in time for his party. He even picked out a dress for her to wear that matches his outfit. And that she gets her hair and nails done, "The whole nines!" he said.

I understand that he really likes her but I think he's over doing it a bit. Toya thinks it's cute, that he's so protective of her. I.. I don't know what to think about it honestly. I know he thinks of her as his friend but I've never seen him go all out for someone like this before. And he even attacked Shawn and used his Alpha voice over her! That's what's got me concerned about him. I've taught him that he is to only use his Alpha power in important matters. Does Abijah really mean that much to him? I'm massaging Toya's belly, legs and feet while contemplating these things.

"I'm gonna talk to my parents Sunday, babe about Zavier." She huffs annoyed at me. "Dee ain't nothing wrong with him being a bit over protective of his friend. Hell she needs some protection. I wish I listened to her sooner when she told me how Shawn was treating her." She said shaking her head and looking sad. I go and kiss her and hug her from behind cradling her in my arms. My lips near her ear trying to sooth her,

"Babe don't be sad, it's not your fault okay? You didn't know that he was doing those things to her." But she turns around to face me,

"But that's the thing, Bae I did know that he was doing s**t to her. Because she told me! I just chalked it up as him being a little rough around the edges. You know how he is sometimes. I had no idea he would do this to her! He tortured her like she was some damn rogue! I'm really worried about her mental health when she wakes up." She looks deep in thought.

"What you mean Babe?" I'm confused, she looked at me wrapping her arms around me.

"How's she gonna feel when we tell her that she got the daylights beaten out of her because Zavier sent her some flowers! I mean Shawn nearly killed her over some f*****g flowers! What are we gonna do about him?" She says looking concerned then determined, "He can't be allowed to do this to her again!"

I sighed, "I've been thinking of telling him that he can't be with her anymore. It shouldn't be too much of a problem because they're not Mates. It'll be impossible if they were. But.. we'll have to also ask her how she feels about it as well."

"Believe me she don't want nothing to do with him, she's been trying to break up with him since the Ball! She actually asked me to take her home after we left the spa, the day after the Ball and he brought her back here. Next thing I know she's literally living here with him. I'm sure it was by force!" She was pissed, so to calm her down I kissed her Mark, making her shiver and moan my name.

"So are you sure that she's not his second chance Mate? I'm not trying to get in the way of the Moon Goddess, I'm not f*****g with fate!"

I'm just an Alpha not a God! She gave me a pointed look saying, "She said she's never felt any sparks with Shawn, none! She also said that she was still a virgin, which I feel is weird.." She looked as puzzled as I felt.

SHE IS!? Damn I thought that with how happy he was, he took that the first night, I wonder what the hell he's waiting for? Oh well, I don't know how he's going to take this information but I have to protect my employees human or not! OK enough of this, I'm gonna make love to my Mate.

~ Saturday Morning ~

I mindlinked my Beta to meet with me in my office, he looks a bit disheveled...

Beta Shawn POV

I arrived at the Alphas office, "Have a seat." I sit down and he looks calm but focused sitting on his desk. "Shawn I called you here to talk about this situation with Abijah. I understand that she's your girl but she's also one of my employees and I'm responsible for her safety."

"I understand Alpha, and I apologize for my despicable behavior. Believe me it will never happen again!" I tell him sincerely, "I'm really f****d up about this whole situation. I love Abijah, I truly do and I should have listened to her when she told me that she didn't know who sent her those flowers!" I have to make it up to her! He stood up from his desk,

"Shawn you have to get a better control over your temper. What would you have done if you did this to her and she was pregnant? Did you think of that? She's human, you know how fragile they are. And you went and beat her like she was one of our prisoners in the dungeons! You gotta do better than just listen to her. You should have believed her. I don't see Abijah as the type of person that would cheat on you. I don't get that negative vibe from her."

He was right.. I just should've went with my first instinct and believed her but instead I overreacted and just lost it on her! I put my face in my hands and sighed deeply. I hear his deep sigh also and felt his hand on my shoulder.

"Shawn I think y'all need some time apart so she can recover from this trauma and you need some anger management to get your s**t straight! I can't allow you to do this to her again!" I looked up at him desperately, no is he gonna try to keep her away from me?

"No Alpha please don't do this. I love her, don't keep her away from me!" I plead, I can't be away from her. I've gotten no rest without her by my side.

"I will NEVER do anything like that to her again, I swear on my life! Just please don't keep her away from me please, Alpha!" I'm close to tears now, it almost feels like I'm losing Naeomi all over again! He gives me an intense gaze,

"I'm giving you ONE last chance to redeem yourself and that's all! You f**k up this time and it's a done deal. Am I perfectly f*****g clear, Beta!?"

"Yes, Alpha I'll do right by her from this moment forward, I promise you!" I say extremely relieved to have a second chance!

"If I see you treating her less than a Princess should be treated," He dragged his thumb across his throat signaling an 'it's over' sign, "It's f*****g over!" He glares at me menacingly and I feel the power radiating off of him.

I get down on my knees, grabbing his hand from my shoulder to shake it and thank him and the Goddess continually for another chance to be with my sweetness!

"She is still not allowed to live in your quarters till she comes and request so on her own. Without influence from you, do you understand!" "Yes Alpha!"

Meanwhile at the Pack Hospital..

Luna Latoya POV

After breakfast me and Zavier arrived at the hospital for our visit with Abie. And he was VERY excited to see her again! He particularly dragged me from the car into her room, lol! Dang my lil man is strong! "Hurry Mom!" He urges pulling my hand.

"Zavier we're gonna make it to her in time, okay! Stop pulling me and your sisters!" I playfully scold him. He slows down a bit, turning around looking slightly desperate, "Tank really wants to see her though, Mom, he's been howling all night! He wants to feel her move again!"

"Okay I understand, Zav, believe me I want to see my friend too!" I'm serious, I need to tell her that she doesn't have to be with Shawn if she doesn't want to. Im sure that'll be great news for her to hear. We make it to her room and her machines are still slowly beeping but the second Zavier touch her they light up like the 4th of July! That's still strange to me that she only reacts to him. I look at him and he has his eyes closed tight while holding one of her hands in both of his own. Was he praying for her? I decided to let him be for awhile. I go to use the bathroom and while in there I hear this deep voice speaking..

Tanks POV

"Abijah, my dear sweet friend, I'm so, so sorry I didn't protect you, from that Goddess forsaken Beta!" Her hands are so cold, when they used to be so warm, I kiss her knuckles and feel her grip my hand, good that means she's getting stronger. "Mother please heal my friend!" I instantly can hear her bones cracking and healing themselves, her skin stretching over scars and her hair growing back. Her heart beats much better and I hear a rushing of blood flowing through her veins.

"Thank you Mother, all praise be unto you forever!" I continue to hold her hand loving the feeling of the light sparks and strength returning to her. After a few minutes she takes in a sharp breath and opens her eyes slowly turning towards me. She looks happy to see me and I am beside myself to finally see her awake. It scared me beyond belief to see her like that yesterday!

"Hey Zavier.." she croaks out her voice sounds so bad, I'm sad but glad that she's speaking. I shake my head slowly a smile spreading across my face, "Hello, Abijah, I'm Tank and it's a pleasure to meet you."
