Chapter Nine It was a few hours before Kristie was told that she could see Rick. The waiting had been agony. All she could think about was her tiny son in an incubator somewhere. When she was told she wouldn’t be able to even hold him yet, it just made everything worse. But Kristie told herself that the important thing was her son was alive. Gray was with her, also.
