William's POV
James and I arrive at the appointed place, it was a small restaurant not far from James's apartment so we went in and ordered for some food while we waited for Rory.
"So what next when Rory arrives with his report?" James asks me looking carefree.
"I do what I usually do." I shrugged.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Well. .. It is just that, I have seen Lillian more than once and she always seemed... innocent." James concluded and I find it hard to agree with him, soon the waiter brings our food and we start eating.
An hour later and Rory arrives, James spots him first and motions for him towards our table, after he sits down and we greet each other I ask Rory the first thing I noticed after I scanned his entire being.
"Where is the folder?"
Rory usually files his report in a folder which contains many some secretive pictures along with some written findings but there was none with him today.
"Well there was no need for one." he answers my question which made me more confused.
"Well what took you so long?" James ask him and we all give Rory our attention as this is the question we want to know more about.
"How do I start?" he adjusts his seat and clears his throat before starting.
"To answer your first question more." he directs at me.
"There was no need for a folder because there was not much to write about this girl." I share a look with James and Rory continued.
"This girl, Lillian Johnson is not like the other girls I investigated before, here's her story... " I give him more attention anticipating some kind of juicy news.
"Lillian Johnson, brown hair, blue eyes, 5 foot 5 inches tall, was born in this town, did her whole school here from kindergarten to college, she has been a good student throughout with no record of bad behaviour any where at all not even in her neighbourhood, she is the only daughter of Sam and Charlotte Johnson, she is described by everyone as friendly, loving and sweet." he stated and it was the most boring thing I've ever heard, sounded more like a biography, or worse a documentary.
"This can't be it!" I exclaim feeling frustrated.
"It took you more than a week and this is all you've got?" I ask him incredulous.
"That's all there is Sir, that's why I took more time to do more investigations, but she is a good girl sir."
"What about past or current love affairs?" James ask but not as disbelieving to what Rory said like I was.
"She dated in high school and that's it."
After realising there was no good information I could use against Lillian, I bid James and Rory goodbye and left not bothering to finish my food.
Now how do I get rid of the girl? My parents expect me to take her out for a date soon.

Lillian's POV
I slurp my banana milk shake as I watch her scan the rack frustratingly, this is the fifth shop we have been to but still she couldn't find a dress.
"urghhh," Emily groaned.
"Who makes these awful dresses?"
"Yeah , I guess we don't have to worry about that anymore since you are here." I say when something caught my eye, I go to where it is and pull it out looking at i
"Yes that's it!" she exclaimed.
"Now that's some enthusiasm." I say putting the dress back
"You're gonna wear something from your own design now?"
"No!"
"Okay, you are confusing me, you don't like the idea again?"
"No I mean this dress, it's perfect, you do have good taste after all." she said as she pulled the dress out putting it against her body.
"I'm gonna go try it." she says as she quickly rushed to the dressing room. The whole Black family is going to a dinner party tonight, some sort of get together, and so I was also invited, Emily decided the two of us should go dress shopping and we have been at it for the past three hours looking for a dress.
I got mine at the first shop we went to but Emily was being choosy, she didn't like any of the dresses.
"None of these dresses are good enough."
"Well why don't you wear something from your own design?" I had asked when we were coming out of the third shop.
"No, I can't! Lillian you are not helping me!" she had said letting out a sigh of frustration.
I then decided to help her in the fourth shop by showing her any beautiful dress I think she would like and in the end she said I had bad taste when I picked out a dress with leopard print.
Emily comes out of the dressing room and twirled wearing the gown I had picked for her, it was a torquise sleeveless dress adorned with red stones.
"I'm taking this one." she declared.
"Finally!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry!" she laughs as she goes back inside the dressing room to change, who knew shopping with her could take this long, Emily pays for her dress and we head home to get ready.
I follow Emily into her room and we started getting ready, she would do my make-up and I would do hers, an hour and a half later and the two of us were ready, I look at the mirror and Emily did a great job on me, she had applied light make-up on my face with red lipstick, my dress was a simple red one that did justice to my figure and my hair was up in a chignon.
"ohhh you look so beautiful!" Emily coos wiping fake tears and I roll my eyes at her.
"well you don't look bad yourself" I compliment back.
"Thanks."
The two of us started down the stairs and I could hear people talking, we reach the last part and I saw him standing there in a tux, he stared at me at me and I almost tripped, regaining my balance at the last minute.
"How do we look Wills?" his sister asks him as we descend
"Beautiful, you look dazzling." he says but he was still staring at me and I felt shy.
As we finished descending down the stairs, Sarah was there and she showered us with compliments, she didn't look bad herself dressed in a black long sleeve dress. Soon Max comes down.
"So how are we going?" Emily asked, forgive me but I thought the two of us were going together.
"Lillian is coming with me." William said.
"yes that sounds great!" Max says holding his wife's hand.
"Emily can come with us." Sarah said.
"but..."
"Sounds good to me mom." Emily interrupts me with a nudge.
"Let's get going my dear" Emily turns to me and winks before following her parents.
"Well, that leaves just the two of us." William says coming to my side with a smile and offering me his hand and I return his smile with a frown.
