Chapter Four

"Yes." he said arrogantly and I felt like screaming. "How could you be so rude! You could have just said no in the beginning!" I protest. "Yes but where is the fun in that?" He looks at me with an annoying smile, his expression smug and I felt like slapping his face. "Drop me this instance! I'm taking a Taxi." I shout getting really mad at him, I check the time on my phone again and it seems I'm going to be late in 10 minutes. "Look I'm sorry, I will take you to your school right now." He says not looking apologetic at all but makes a u-turn. *** "Can't you drive any faster?" He ignores me and keeps driving and 12 minutes later we reach the school and he parks the car. "We are here, now you can get out of my car." he said and I acted as if I didn't hear him at all. "Hey ! Can't you see we are here?" I ignore him again, my going out will be of no use because I know the lecturer will probably disgrace me for being late before ordering me out of his class and I didn't have another lecture today. "Lillian get out of my car!" I ignore him again crossing my hands to my chest "Get out before I come out and drag you out myself" I ignore him again, I mean he can't be serious about dragging me out, right? He angrily snaps open his door walking out angry and crossing over to my side, the rage I see on his face makes me believe he will no doubt drag me out so I quickly open the car door and come out before he could drag me out himself because as much as I want to annoy him for making me get late, I didn't want him to drag me and embarrass in front of the other students. I send me a hard glare and he rolls his eyes before going back inside his car and speeding off. "Insufferable j*rk" I huff before heading to the library to atleast spend my time worthwhile. Two hours later, my phone makes a ping and I check it to see a message from Molly. *where are you?* the message said *meet me in the cafeteria* I reply before packing my things and heading there. I spot Molly as soon as I reach the cafeteria and head over to her table. "Hey, how comes you didn't attend today's class? " she asks as soon as I sit down, she knows it is very unlike me to be late for anything. ******* "Wow!" Molly gasped after I finish telling her about everything that happened from the time I arrived at the Black's mansion. "But why is he being like that?" "I don't know, maybe he is just really rude." " I don't think so, the guy definitely has a motive for being that rude to you." "Whatever, let's forget about him, tell me about today's class." ******* William's POV I arrived at my office in time after dropping Lillian at school. "Very annoying human being." I grumble to myself as I go through the work on my desk, I cannot wait for Rory to get me the results of his background check on Lillian so I can't get over her. 'Were you really gonna drag her out of that car though?' My conscience asked me out of no where and I start to ponder over it, Lillian really annoyed me in that car but I wasn't sure I would have dragged her out of the car, it was my fault for getting her to her school late, but what would I have done if she didn't get out on her own?... "Sir? Sir." I quickly look up to see my secretary in front of my desk "How dare you come into my office without permission?!" I exclaim, I always hate it when someone enters into my office without permission and she knows it "Ssir... I've knocked but there was no answer so I came in to see if you were inside the office but I couldn't get your attention." "Okay what is it? " "Sir you are 10 minutes late for your 9 o'clock meeting and the other party are already there waiting for you." I quickly get up as I hear that, 10 minutes late! How could I have been so absent minded to forget about an important meeting like that, I quickly gather my files and follow my secretary to the meeting room. ****** After the meeting which took us almost an hour was over, I came out feeling very proud of myself, it was successful. I went to my office and ordered for lunch before continuing with some of my work. I am the Managing director of the company while my father is the CEO, when I was kid my father used to tell me that one day when I grow up I would be the CEO, and that was all I ever wanted and worked hard for. After I graduated from college I took the position of Managing Director but that wasn't enough for me, I want it all, and that shouldn't be a problem seeing as my sister Emily is not interested in the business, ever since she was little, she wanted to be a fashion designer and now she is one and with the support of my parents is trying to make her own brand. So it would make sense that my parents should handover this company to me but they insist I should get a wife first and I'm not planning on getting one anytime soon, I'm sure they will one day get tired of throwing girls at me and just give over the company to me.
