"Hey... do you think it's him?" A small whisper came from a girl's lips. "Who else but him?" Another girl replied to her as if certain."Weren't they close though, like they were always together...?" there was a boy's voice that could also be heard in the distance. "I really doubt that... but maybe it's true..." The continuous whispers making it hard to hear, or even distinguish between the different children talking. "No, but... really..." Voices all speaking through one another until finally:
"He's the reason Janet is dead, right?" That sentence alone stood out and Irene's ears felt like they were on fire. Each thing he accidentally overheard his classmates say felt like a stab to his heart. Was he really responsible?
