Kane’s POV. They were both dead. It didn’t take long to find their bodies, somewhere near the border, bloodied up and maimed to a point I could barely tell who was who. Even after a lot of examination, we couldn’t determine the cause of their death, maybe it was the enchantments lining the dungeons that lingered on their skin, maybe they’d fought each other to the point that they’d both been brutally wounded and died, but now, the wounds on their bodies were inexplicable.
