There’s panic in my chest. Panic that isn’t mine.
At first it was small and I brushed it off as my own worry, it wasn’t uncommon for me to have random bouts of anxiety during the day but when the anxiety tripled, my breaths became harder and harder to take in and I couldn’t feel that invisible tether that was the mate bond stretching out between us, I knew that the panicked feeling isn’t coming from me. It was Fiona’s. I’m not sure why she was panicking right now, but whatever it was it must be really bad for my heart to be pounding this fast and for me to be having trouble breathing.
