Fiona's POV.
"You slut," Giovanna hisses, and before I can even react her palm meets my face and my head is snapping to the side.
Amelia rushes to stand between us, screaming the taller she wolf to back up, but the damage has already been done, my cheek is stinging, my ear is ringing and other maids have formed a small circle around us whispering and pointing at the steaming woman and the one cowering away from her.
Guess a whole day wasn't enough to make Giovanna forget about whatever barge of insults Nino had launched on her two days ago.
"Get the hell out of my way Amelia," Giovanna screams, trying to reach past Amelia, but my friend is much stronger and faster so easily keeps her back while I stand there much too stunned to even move.
