Kane’s POV
Two weeks of rolling around on the training mat with the warriors and I was more than ready to just pass out on a bed somewhere, preferably next to Fiona, but I didn’t have the mental strength to dig into that right now.
We weren’t preparing much for war, more or less preparing to evacuate most of the pack if the threat of war became increasingly imminent. While that might seem like a pathetic move to some, it was merely us licking our wounds and doing all that we could to keep our pack safe from a much bigger, much powerful pack.
