Kane's POV.
"I heard she tried to escape again," I say casually looking over the files in my hand. I glance at Savio who merely pauses for a moment before continuing flipping through the documents.
"Yes she did. I caught her before she got too far," he says casually, but I can see his body tense up. Clearly he was hiding something, one short glance at Nino was all I needed to know that he'd noticed it too.
"And what punishment did you give her?" Nino asked tipping his head to the side.
"I left her punishment to the head maid, I had things to do," he says and meets my eyes with a look that's clearly telling me to let the topic die out.
But I frown at him unsatisfied by his words. "I thought we'd agreed we'd handle he major punishments ourselves?"
