Chapter 26 – Conflicted
“Come on, baby girl, time for us to get up. Let us enjoy the day together,” she says while waking me out of my slumber. I am glad she let me sleep. It allowed me to process this new information. I think I need some time without talking about everything I learnt earlier this morning. Speaking of which, how long was I asleep for? I better ask her.
“How long was I asleep for?” I ask while slowly sitting up.
“Not long. Only for two and half hours, I wish I could let you sleep longer, but I would very much enjoy spending the day with you,” she explains.
“What are we doing?” I inquire.
“Right, now you are going to have a shower while I pick out your clothes for the day.” She says before kissing my forehead and helping me get up and out of bed. Which I am fully capabl
