Chapter 17 – Saying the Words “Come on, little girl, I know you can say it,” she whispers, loosening her grip on my hair. “I ah w-will be-be your good, your good little g-gi-irl,” I shudder out. As soon as the words left my mouth, she finally released my hair. I reach up to try and soothe my sore scalp before trying to move away from her. “Don’t move, baby girl,” she instructs, causing me to freeze my movements. “I will, go and make something for you to eat, baby girl,” she says before hopping up and leaving the room, still locking me in here. Too afraid to move, I stay still and don’t move an inch. I said what she wanted me to say, yet she didn’t let me out of here. What is it going to take for me to be allowed out of this room?
