Lily slept the entire day and only woke up the next morning, her body stiff and still a bit sore. The strange thing was that she was in her bed, and not on the couch where her father had left her. She knew the Alpha would never have taken the effort to move her to a more comfortable place–especially after what she had said to him. It had to have been her brother. She didn’t know how to feel about that, because it would have been the first kind thing he had done for her in nine years. Of course, it was likely he had only wanted to get her out of the way so he could watch tv on the couch. It wasn’t like Sam had tucked her in under the covers, so Lily wasn’t going to pretend it meant anything. The determination to get back at Kyle hadn’t vanished or faded overnight, and she couldn’t wait to
