Patrick led us back to Yasmin’s pack. I opted to bring fewer people, knowing that it would only scare them, which might prompt an accidental attack. I also left more trusted guards at the house for Clarity.
I’m more than willing to help Patrick resolve this for Yasmin and her pack, but I can’t help but want to finish this as soon as possible and go back to my wife. They’ve already done it once, and I’m sure they wouldn’t easily back down. I’m not taking my chances either.
I gestured for them to halt after sensing people nearby. Patrick confirmed that it was Yasmin’s camp, and I opted for him to approach first. It wasn’t fear or anything but a simple effort not to trigger an attack from their side. We didn’t have a great start, after all.
