The books I requested were already at one of the library desks, along with a notebook and pens, all ready to be read and studied.
“Not this either,” I mumbled in frustration. Instead of studying as I should be doing, I ended up trying to find any books that would tell me any information about where they bring people thrown out of the pack or how it was handled.
Alpha Amos was definitely hiding something from me, and I doubt that he’d tell me if I insisted. I’ve already thought of asking the servants, but I’m sure that they would either avoid answering my question or report it to the Alpha.
That’s why I have to find it myself… but how will I find it alone with hundreds, no, thousands of books in here? I’ve only checked five shelves so far, and there are at least fifty more. The
