“They have already arrived, Alpha.” Gabriel informed me from outside the room.
My eyes instantly locked on Clarity. I decided to do this for her, but I'm still wondering whether this was a good idea.
“Why, what is it about?” she immediately noticed my discomfort.
“Your family is here.” I informed her after gathering my thoughts.
A smile quickly formed on her lips, “Really? Thank goodness.”
I badly wanted to be happy for her, but I still doubted that they'd be kind to my mate even if she sacrificed her life for them. I don't want to see her hurt and I don't think I could control myself if they said anything stupid.
