Outside matters are usually discussed by the Alpha to his betas before they reach the council, only if needed. At least, that is what I’ve learned from all the books I’ve read so far.
He barely spoke a word after he assured Patrick he’d think about what to do with Yasmin. A day passed, and it was almost as if nothing happened. The preparation for our birthday celebration resumed, but neither of us was interested in it. Still, the council insisted we do it for some reason. Alpha Amos didn’t bother arguing with them, but I couldn’t help but overthink because of how he was acting.
My thoughts were cut when Alpha Amos suddenly leaned towards me and touched my forehead, “You’re sweating. Are you not feeling well? Is it too hot here?”
