People are visibly confused, and I don’t blame them. One moment, Amos is avoiding me as if I have a contagious disease, and the next moment, he is more determined to do my training than I am.
I know why he’s doing this. I still don’t know if I could do what he wanted me to, but I’m also determined to learn because it is the only way at the moment. Although I wish that we don’t have to reach that moment again.
He wanted me to learn to defend myself properly in case he lost control again. The thought of hurting him makes me uncomfortable, but he’s also right. I can’t just let myself die at his hands.
