I woke up hoping to see Alpha Amos beside me, but that wasn’t the case. None of the members of the pack army that I know of have yet to come back, either.
What happened yesterday felt like a dream because everyone was acting like nothing had happened. Chloe could already smile, but I felt guilty that she had to suffer because of me. I didn’t even know until yesterday.
For a moment, I was tempted to check the library and ask Cole if he knew something, but I stopped halfway. Amos had warned me not to interact with him, especially when he wasn’t around.
