CLARITY
“Where are we heading?” I asked after we had passed the market, which had ended my familiarity with the place. I probably sounded like a child excited for something, but I really am.
“There’s a lake nearby. Do you want to see that?” He suggested.
My eyes widened, “Yes! I heard about that from people in the house. I’ve never seen a lake before.”
“You might be the only person I’ve met who’s very easy to smile.” He commented, making me smile even more.
“I just try to appreciate life better. I’ve… missed so much in my life because of what I’ve been through. It wasn’t any materialistic things, or comfort that I missed. It’s moments that I never get to do or experience.”
He promised me that he’d do this when we had time. What I didn’t expect was that he’d casually pull an escapade
