Scene 1 Shelly and Zain having dinner with their families that since they both can't find a mate it would be beneficial for them to join the families out side business as well. Scene 2 Thalia is not feeling well so she makes a stop at the pharmacy and in a rush walks straight into Zain the coffee he has in his hand spills on to her. Frustrated she because now she's running late she rushes off after she is mumbles an apology and a thank you to the Zain the broke her fall. With Thalia in his arms Zain's wolf surfaces and ever part of their bodies in contact to his feels electric but as he is fighting with his wolf to remain in control he can only watch Thalia run off. Scene 3 Shelley has just joined the the family business as the Financial Director and her father is introducing her to key employees she catches a unique scent which she follows to an empty office. As she walks back to join her father, his talking to Thalia. Shelley is drown to Thalia and feels very protective over her, wonders why she look exhausted but gets annoyed and jealous as she came closer Thalia smelled like another man. So she is abrasive when her father introduces them to each other and invites Thalia to the family dinner. Scene 4 At the dinner Shelly fights to control her natural instincts when she finds out the unique scent was from Thalia. Shelley's mother picks u that she acting odd and questions Shelley about her behavior and explains to Shelley that Thalia is her mate and she should stop fighting it. Shelley father hears the conversation and warns Shelley to not do something stupid like breaking the engagement with Zain over this as Thalia is only human and her life span is short. If she breaks the alliance it could create a rift between the families. Zain comes late to the dinner as well only to find the woman he is to marry and the woman that is his soul mate sitting next to each other at the table. Not willing to make a scene at his in laws house Zain sit next to Thalia. Thalia completely oblivious to their raging emotions she finds herself sitting between them two as they have a silent battle for her attention. Scene 5 Zain and Shelly meets the wedding planner to start the wedding plans in Shelley's office only neither their hearts and minds are in it so the wedding planner reschedule. They end up telling each other about the mate they each met and don't think the wedding is wise anymore. The both agree until they find out they have the same mate.
