Chapter Ten

Park Jisoo’s Point of View

I give myself a finally look at the mirror to make sure I was dressed properly, I wore a black suit pant, a white blouse, black heels and a pink jacket also I wore the pearl earring my husband bought me for our fifteen years wedding anniversary. I decided against wearing any necklace and wore my pair of prescribed glasses giving matrimonial bedroom once finally look

My husband, Choi Mingi didn’t come home till very late last night and left as soon as the day broke, we even barely got to speak to each other all I knew was that he hugged me from behind when I was asleep and placed feather like kisses on my neck.

Choi Mingi loves me no doubt and I love him even more to go through the extreme for him. Ever since I set my eyes on him I just knew he was the one to bring me out of my poor and miserable life, something Park Min Gyu could have never done, that’s why I abandoned him to start a new life with Choi Mingi and did things that needed to be done, not just to marry Choi Mingi but to keep being married to him

I walk down the stairs and saw my biggest creation Choi Hyun Soo in the kitchen. My son, the reason I am here. He is the reason I could get into this family and the reason why Mingi’s mom cannot kick me out even though she hates my guts. He is my biggest creation, my greatest strength and shield that not even Kim Woo Jin could destroy

“What’s going on?” I walked into the kitchen confused to why the chef stood by the side watching Choi Hyun Soo cook “Why is he in the kitchen?”

“Good morning mother” he chimes

 “Someone is in a good mood this morning. What are you doing?” I asked

“I thought I should try cooking today”

 “Why?” I raised an eyebrow in question “Don’t you enjoy the chef’s food anymore?”

“I do of course” he smiles at the middle aged chef “I enjoy your food Mrs. Go” he said to her

“Do you even know what you are doing?” I laughed watching him struggle

“I think so” he eyes the flour and egg “Don’t mind me mom, have a nice day”

“You too” I replied laughing as I headed outside. My personal assistant Mr. Kim stood besides the car with the driver Mr. Ma “Are you not taking Hyun Soo to school today?” I asked

“He said his friend will come back him up” Mr. Ma the driver replies as he opens the door for me. I got in and so does my personal assistant/Secretary Mr. Kim

He starts to brief me about my schedule for today as we drove down to the company. The drive from home to the company is just an half an hour drive and we got there by 7:30 AM. Secretary Kim opens the door for me and I walked out of the car, everyone bows and gives me a good morning greeting as I walked into the company and straight to my office, Mr. Kim right behind me

“You have a briefing by 8AM about the progress of the self driving car” Mr. Kim reminds me and I nodded as we took the elevator to my office

“Good Morning Mrs. Park” the other secretaries greets as I walked passed them “This package was sent too you ma’am” one of them said as he stretch forth a brown envelope. Mr. Kim collected it and passed it to me. I eyed the suspicious envelope

“Who is it from?” I asked

“It had no sender on it and was only address to you”

I took it into my office and sat down on the chair “You’re excused Mr. Kim” I said to my secretary, he bows then left the office leaving only me and the strange envelope. I proceed to open the envelope and in it was a flash drive

“What is this?” I looked closely at the flash drive before inserting it into my computer. It had only on file in it that read ‘Park Jisoo’ my name. I opened the file and there is an audio file so I click play

‘Mr. Kim woo Jin I need you to help me find a child’

My eyes opened wide, I recognize the voice

‘A child?’

‘Yes preferable a new born baby or a baby who is not up to six months’

It’s my voice. This is the conversion I had with Kim woo Jin eighteen years ago. I quickly eject the flash drive from my computer and threw it on the floor. That bastard recorded my voice.

“Kim Woo Jin!” I stood up angrily and stepped on the flash drive with my heel. My phone starts to ring all of a sudden

I turned around, digging my phone out of my purse. I recognize the number, it’s Kim Woo jin’s, I clicked on answer and placed it on my ear

“Did you receive my gift well?” I can imagine him grinning from ear to ear and it made me so angry

“Kim Woo Jin you crazy bastard” I clench the hem of my suit

“I could have that sent to the press, can you imagine the headline ‘Choi Hyun Soo, the son of the Co CEO of CH Tech was actually kidnapped by the person he thought was his mother’” he laughed

My lips trembles in anger as tears burns my eyes “I’ll kill you”

“You are ungrateful” he snarls through the phone “I found that boy you call a son, if it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t even be accepted into that family. You know you should treat me more nicely. I hold the power to your life. I know all your lies and your secrets sister”

I bite down my trembling lips as the anger vibrates through my body. I should have killed him, I should have had him shot or stabbed I shouldn’t have let him know about my secrets and be alive

“What do you want?” I finally asked him

“Money, you seem to have a lot of it” he said and I scoffed “I want 500 million won, in cash ready by tomorrow”

“Are you crazy, why do you expect me to get that amount from?”

“Say the woman who is worth a billion won, I have done my research on you dear sister so don’t give me bullshit and have the money ready if you don’t want be to send this a broadcasting channel. I’ll text you the location” he hangs up the call.

“Kim woo Jin you bastard!” I threw my phone at the floor

He wants to ruin me, I know that once I give him the money he won’t stop asking for more. I need to figure out how much he has on me and who else he has told. I need to find a way to protect myself and to protect my family. I cannot lose all that I have worked for. I cannot lose against Kim Woo Jin. I cannot lose Choi Mingi hell I don’t want to lose Hyun Soo too

Rosaline Park’s Point of view

“Do Take care” my older sister Jamie smiles as she drops me off at school

“I will” I smiled at her

“Don’t forget to use your drugs”

“I won’t Jamie, now go” I ‘shoo’ her

“Fine” she laughs and drove off

I watch my older sister drive away before I started walking to the entrance of the school, it is still pretty early and school will officially start in thirty minutes time, I walk slowly down the hallway with a bright smile as my eyes goes around the students who were chatting and also getting ready to start of the day. Some of them said hi to me and I waved back

I have been here for barely a week and I still am not familiar with my classes yet, I took a few wrong turns before finally finding my class.

“This place is impossible to find” I dropped my bag on my desk and sat down. Neither Choi Hyun Soo nor Lee Seung were in the class instead their so called friend Min So Ra walks into the class after me, eyes me and sat on her chair and placed a cake on the table.

I tapped her on the shoulder, knowing too well that it would only irritate her “What” she barks and I got the satisfaction of seeing her pissed

“Where is Lee Seung Gi?” I asked

“Are you two best friends now?” she eyes me and I laugh

“No we are not” I replied “We probably would date in a few weeks from now though”

Min So Ra snickers “You’re crazy. Seung Gi would never date someone like you”

“You’re not him, you can’t say baby girl” I wiggle my eyebrow and it pisses her more.

“Stop doing that, what is wrong with you?”

I am enjoying watching Min So Ra get pissed off by my every action when a girl stops at my table, I looked up and actually see three girls, I recognized only one of them from yesterday she was one of the people bullying Seung Gi

My Seung Gi

“Follow me. We need to talk” she said

I rest on my chair, not moving and inch. My eye goes around the class and watch as everyone’s attention is brought to me and the girl “why should i?”

“Hey you stupid b***h, follow me now that I’m being nice” she snarls

I sat more comfortable contemplating if I should go with her or not, it really is obvious what she wants to do, the classic old ‘beat the s**t out of the new kid that stood up to me’ thing and I really am not in the mood for it but then again Lee Seung Gi could walk in here any moment from now and I don’t want him to see me beat this girls up, so I stood up.

“Led the way” I said to her so she does, the whole class goes up in a roar as we walked out of the classroom and some even followed us. The girl opens a class door, pushes me in then the two girls with her before locking in after her. They close the window tildes also so no one would who see and I laughed.

She turns to me and I could see this anger in her eyes, I recognize the look all too well, a lot of people look at me with this same look, different eyes but this same look. Only Seung Gi doesn’t

Only Lee Seung Gi

“Let’s get this over with” I said uninterested in whatever she wants to say

“Do you know I am?”

Oh how cliché

I scratch my hair then blew on my fingers “I don’t care”

“I am Do Min Su” she proceeds to tell me irrelevant details “My father owns this school, do you know what that means? I can get you kicked out of here anytime I want”

“Aren’t you here to beat me up or not?” I folded my arms across my chest “Can we just get it over with. Seung Gi would be here any moment from now”

She walks up to me and slaps me. There is a loud ringing in my ear as I placed my hands over my cheeks

“That is for pulling my hair” she said

I start laughing, really hard that tears gather in my eyes and watch Do Min Su and the other girls face turn into confusion

“What the hell” one of the girl said

“The last person that slapped me never used her hands again” I said then grabbed Do Min Su’s hand. Tightly squeezing it

“Let go” she yells

“I don’t want to, why should I, how much will you pay me?” I sang. I really have to get this song from my head

“Hey Let her go” one of the other girl proceeds to hit my hand, so I let go of Do Min Su and punch the girl on her throat she falls down to the floor coughing so hard and it felt good to watch her struggle to breathe, the other girl doesn’t do anything but stood besides the door like she was ready to run

“Do you want to kill her?” Do Min Su yelled at me and checked her coughing friend on the floor

“Is that not your intention for me? To kill me” I asked smiling

Do Min Su stood up then grab my hair “You crazy b***h” she screamed

I too grabbed her hair, pulling it as hard as I could, unlike Do Min Su’s hair which is full and long, mine is short and she finds it difficult to hold

“Let go” she yells

“Let go of me I’ll do the same” I bargained

“Let go at the count of three” she said and counts

As she counts to three, I let go of her hair and she does the same to mine but I returned the slap she had given me earlier with a punch to her face as she falls to the floor

“If you’re going to hit someone, make a fist” I tell her clenching my fist “only children and w****s slap with their palms open”

Okay maybe I hit her hard as blood slowly dripped down her nose

“I’m bleeding” she screams

 I squat down beside her and grabbed her by the throat that’s enough play for today, she has had her fun and I’ve let her hit me because I am in a good mood but no more

“Hey Do Min Ju or whatever you call yourself, I am uninterested in whatever you do in this school except bullying Lee Seung Gi” I tell her “Seung Gi is mine, go look for another play toy”

She laughs “Do you like Lee Seung Gi?”

“No, I love him”

She manages to laugh through my grip “You just met him and already love him? You’re really crazy”

“It’s none of your business”

“Do you know he would never love you?”

I pressed her throat harder “Why does everyone keeping telling me I can’t have him” I run my hand into my hair fustrated

“Because he belongs to Choi Hyun Soo”

“Choi Hyun Soo? Who is that?”

“There’s no way you can miss him, Lee Seung Gi is always with him” she said

“Oh~ that boy” I remember who she was talking about “I don’t care”

“It doesn’t matter if you care or not. The whole school knows Choi Hyun Soo and Lee Seung Gi like each other”

“Of course they like each other they are bestfriends”

“Not as friends you i***t more than that they are gay”

 I let go of Do Min Su “No, Seung Gi isn’t gay. He likes women”

“You must be either drunk or crazy to think that man is straight” she snickered

It doesn’t matter what the whole school think what matters is what I think and what I want. I stood up run my hands into my hair again “It doesn’t matter; if he is gay I’ll turn him straight”

I know I can, he can’t resist me
