When Harvey arrived at the police station, he had Mr. Lincoln with him. They walked straight up to the glass window, and Mr. Lincoln knocked on the glass.
It had been a slow day, and the chubby officer that was on the other side of the glass had been playing Angry Birds and not paying attention. So, when heard the knock, he nearly jumped out of his skin. Then, when he saw who was in front of him, all of the colors drained from his face. "M-M-M-Mister L-Lincoln,” he stuttered. “W-What are y-you d-doing here?"
"One of my juniors made a mistake,” Mr. Lincoln replied. “I believe he is being held here. Could I please take a look around?”
The fat frowned and said, "That’s impossible. How could one of your juniors make a mistake?"
“Be that as it may… He may not have made a mistake. It is
