Vera POV

“ Why do you even have to spoil my night. ” I reply not wanting where she is trying to take this conversation at all.

“ Don't Tell me you are angry because I just asked about him . What did you say his name is ? Hunter.

“ I don't care about what his name is . He is just my wedding buddy and that is all. I don't even need to know what his name is

“ I am even sure if he is going to be my wedding buddy next Sunday. " I reply getting angry after remembering what happened today at the office. I still can't believe he made an extra mile of coming to my office just to tease me. He just came even when he didn't have anything to say to me. But then what would he have to tell me.

“ Don't Tell me he did something again..did he kiss you ?” Aimee asks excite

“ What !" I say shocked by her thought

“ Whom do you think I am. Do you think I am just there ..let me just let it be. You know very well and some one who doesn't care about relationships. " I answer getting tired of this discussion

“ Now tell me why do you insist on changing the wedding buddy? Hunter is full package. He has it all. ” Aimee goes on

“ Infact not only in my office but rather in my office chair and even when I kept insisting that he should get away, the fact is he didn't show any sign of ever going away.

“ What do you even mean. I have no idea about what you are even talking about. " I answer her

“ What I mean is that you have finally got your match. I have never met someone one is not afraid of your coldness like him...of course not including me. He even remained in your office chair. ” She goes on

“ He is such a brave sexy man . ” Aimee adds in a flirting tone

“ So what are you even insinuating ? " I decide to ask her when I realize that she has more of what she wants me to understand now.

“ The thing is that is the right guy for you. He is the one who will make you feel things that you had no idea even existed in you . He will take you

“ Enough.. Enough of that. You are not even helping at all. I thought you would help me over come all the pressure from mom but it seems like you are doing a good job of adding more to the stress.

“ Pressure from Mrs Mathews, what do you mean. ? The last thing I knew is that she is in Italy with your father doing their world tour . Again how come you are talking about the pressure and all that?" She ask curious

“ Ehhmm, what do you think. The truth is they just left this place an hour ago after dinner

“ You mean they have been there?’’ Aimee asks perhaps not getting this since mom had told us that they will stay in Italy for another month

“ Mom called mom yesterday as I was leaving work to tell me that they were coming at my place for dinner. I was equally surprised since I thought that they were in Italy. ” I decide to narrate to them the story

“ I thought was going home to have a glass of champagne and relax after a day of with that Jerk having to disturb me at the office but I was wrong. I had to head home to get meals ready for my parents. ” I go o

“ Infact the only thing that mom talked about was that I need to get a boyfriend...can you believe even my father who has never said anything about getting a boyfriend talked about it

“ Yes, Vera. That is the fact. There is no way Why you don't get a man. You are not gay, you are so beautiful and Independent. Plus you know the number of guys that have been chasing after you. Infact they have been chasing you from the time we were in highschool . Give one a chance.

“ By the way when are you getting back from there?" I ask her changing the topic completely.

“ I can't tell. We are still having the best of this . The bad thing is that we have to get back to the business . You know we can't keep away from it for along time. " She tells me.

“ But you have been there for two week. Hasn't he f****d you enough?" It is my turn to tease her

“ You don't have any idea how good he makes me feel. I can't get tired of him that easily.

We go on to have random talks which goes on for about another hour. I feel so sleepy and have to sleep since tomorrow is still another day and have a business partner that I have to meet at 12:00pm.

He is from a company called ‘ John's Company’ I want to get into partnership with them.

I therefore have to get up early and receive the proposal that I have for a partnership that would be possible.

“ Goodnight , I have to get up early tomorrow" I say to her

“ Like wise girl friend. My fiance should be ready with what he has been doing and is waiting for me. I have to get back. " She says hanging up.

It takes me a few minutes to fall asleep. I put aside all that has happened the whole of today and wait and see what tomorrow has in stock for me.
