Suprise office visitor

Vera POV

I get hold of my purse and turn around ready to head back to my apartment.

“ Not even a thank you ” he says in his husky voice . However I don't know if he is being sarcastic or he is disappointed- but I don't care either ways.

I am promoted to turn around at him his blue eyes piercing into me . A stupid smirk slowly forms in his voice which tells me that this is actually his usual behavior . Don't know if he has forgotten his position in this . I actually had hired him for the five weddings but it is like am beginning to get second thoughts if I will be able to tolerate him for the five weeks .

I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out of my mouth . I choose to just get in slamming the door really hard even though am sure that he is standing just behind it .

Perhaps he doesn't even know me . I hate when any one more so when it comes to men who try to cling on me .

I get back to the couch where I was sited earlier . But sitting I feel hot plus I need to get ready for bed tomorrow being a Monday and since am the CEO I have to get too much to do being the boss.

I so head to the bathroom into the shower .

My phone rings as I get out of the shower. A smile creeps my face upon seeing who is calling . I sit on the bed as a receive the call.

“ How was the wedding?” it is the first question that Aimee asks. I roll my eyes at her even though she is not able to see it . For sure she is some one else .

“ Horrible , all the time I wished it would end ” I answer matter of fact.

“ ,come on Vera , when will you ever have a positive say on all this. It was just a wedding with a sexy man beside you .”

“ To hell with sexy , I don't car about what you say but my perception about love and marriage is the Same and I don't think it will change just that quick .” I reply even beginning to get a get that she is getting stuck to this topic.

“ But that is the fact. Hunter is one sexy hell of a man. His well formed body and those blue eyes that gets a woman wet by just him looking at you."

“ Oh! Heavens ,Aimee I thought you are away with your fiance and all that you are doing is to praise another man.”

“ I only want to show you what you are missing . ” she insists. We talk for some time until I get tired if her usual talk if me getting a boyfriend and her assuming that Hunter will be the man to finally sweep my legs off the ground. That is going to be in her imagination forever. Because it is never going to happen no matter what.

I put all that aside and head into my bed. Finally happy that that drama things if a wedding are put at one point . Atleast I can now rest until the next drama that will be there next weekend. Any way I will rest for a few days until then.

After every and putting everything in order I head to sleep tomorrow being another new day and more so a new week since am am the CEO still.

( Next morning)

I am awoken by my usual alarm just like any other day.

I at first hesitate getting out of bed - actually that is not the usual me . I am always in time when it comes to do with my usual schedule.

Getting out of my bed, I head to take a quick shower before I get ready to head to the office. I dress in a black skirt and white long stripped shirt combing my hair into a ponytail. I apply a little make up and head out of house towards my car and begin it to head towards the company. .

It is about a ten minute drive when the jam is light . Memories of the wedding that I attended last evening come flashing into my mind more so when it comes to Hunter. He is Such a jerk. A big jerk that am not sure whether I will be able to contain the next time that we are supposed to be together at a next wedding which is next Sunday.

Am so lost in such thoughts that I at first don't realize that I have reached at the company building.

“ s**t !” I curse as I get out of the car to head inside. As usual almost every employee looks at me with fearful eyes . All those who have been gossiping immediately turn to their work like they have not been gossiping not long ago.

“ Good morning , morning .” My secretary greets me as I get into the elevator her coming after me .

” You have an appointment ” she informs me which gets me puzzled since as far as I know I didn't have a morning appointment with any one.

“ I don't think am to meet any one ” I say More of a statement than a question .

“ He insisted that he has to meet you immediately ” my secretary reveals to me .

I head towards my office telling the secretary to get back to her desk wondering who wants to meet me urgently.

“ What !” the word leaves my mouth upon opening the door to my office. This can't be true.

In my office is Hunter sited all composed and calm like he owns the place . I can't even move for a second . Am stuck at the door way looking at how he is sited in my office. This is for sure unbelievable and I even don't know Where to begin from.

“ What are you doing here ?” I ask furious as I get into my office to where he is sited- in my chair .
