Piper let out a squeak and turned to face Autumn, who came out through the trees.
“Oh, Autumn you scared me!"
“I scared you? What are you doing up here, Piper?"
Piper looked uncomfortable.
“Your mom called me wondering if you were with me. When I told her you weren't, I thought you may have gone here."
“Why would you assume that?"
“I thought maybe to pay your respects where everything happened. This place did change your life. It changed all of ours."
Autumn was still skeptical.
“First off, I am here to try and remember what happened that night. Trust me, I don't want to be here. And secondly, I'm still confused how you knew I would be here and then follow me."
“Honestly, I heard people like to come back to the place they committed a crime. It was a stretch, yet, here you are."
