* William’s POV * I sit in the dimly lit interrogation room, my hands bound in front of me on the desk. Across from me, Lucius sits nonchalantly, his gaze fixed on me. He’s silent for a while, then he tilts his head slightly as he stares at me. “What do you want?” I ask, but he merely chuckles. “Didn’t your little brother tell you what I want?” he asks. “And here I thought he wasn’t entirely useless.” I say nothing, and he leans back as he lowers his voice and says, “Don’t be ridiculous, William. You and I both know how this is going to end. Do you really want to fight it out? Join me, and we can put all this nonsense behind us.” I scoff at his offer, knowing full well that joining him would mean betraying everything I stand for. Lucius leans forward, his eyes blazing with intensit
