Chapter Twenty Eight – Comfort, An Alliance, And A Rejection   Marco held his wife close to him, allowing her to punch and hit and scream in his arms until finally her body went limp and her screams turned to small sobs. Scooping her up he sat on the bed cradling her in his arms like a small child as he gently rocked her back and forth. Something within him broke as he looked down onto her tear streaked face, and her body trembling.
