Chapter Thirty – Guilt and Lies.
Eva sat at her desk in the basement, as she prepared to see the patients who were queued up outside to see her. Taking a deep breath, to prepare herself, Eva wondered why her father had behaved so cold and distant, Marco had promised her that he had not instigated her father’s but did own that he had told him he had to show respect to his wife. Maybe it was because he was in this house, and Eva wondered if she should go visit him without Marco if her father was fearful. Shaking her head slightly to rid the thoughts that were going through her brain, in a bid to concentrate Eva asked Maria to show in the first patient.
