Cora's POV
"What is your name sweet girl." King Randall asks me. I can almost feel my heart beating in my throat in panic. What if they don't like me and they came all this way just to be disappointed?
"C-Cora H-Holmes your Highness." I managed to blurt out, could I be any more awkward!
"It is a pleasure to meet you sweet Cora. I am so glad to finally meet you, after all these years." He continues. It's a pleasure to meet me? Really? Or was he inclined to say that just to sound propper?
"My mate..." Adrian says out of nowhere. I look at him and notice his eyes are flickering red. Is he seriously using his alpha aura to try and stake a claim in me? Where is this coming from? I know we have become very close, and I can't imagin being without him... but surely THAT wasn't necessary.
