I was back to working on the newsletter when Wilson came over to the desk. “You’re helping with the program today, aren’t you?” I nodded. “I’ll be setting out muffins and starting the coffee in about thirty minutes.” Wilson looked exhausted. I had the feeling he’d probably been up most of the night, worrying about the library. I said, “Hey, Mona had a great idea for programming. A seed library. I think it’ll work great as a long-term program here.” I explained how the indoor greenhouse would be a converted cabinet with lights and a humidifier, gave an estimate on potential costs, and offered ideas on implementation and engagement.
