Luna lived with her mother, Mona, in the house she’d grown up in. She was allegedly taking care of Mona and giving her a hand around the house, but I’d always had the sneaking suspicion that Mona was helping Luna just as much. The house was a motley assortment of both Mona’s well-established tastes and Luna’s more colorful style. When I walked in, there was the coziness demonstrated by Mona’s crocheted blankets and her quilts. Childhood artwork by Luna still graced the fridge. Luna’s contributions were colorful wall hangings in a kaleidoscope of colors and a fair amount of clutter. Luna, Mona, Jeremy and Grayson were sitting around the dining room table.
