Alexandre tapped his thigh as he watched the clock on his phone. His father was needlessly droning on and on about his plans for the brand and about how the fashion show had gone. All the questions could easily be answered with a 'yes, father' or a 'no, father'. He spent his whole life uttering those words. Every time he had tried to talk to his father about anything outside of what his father wanted to... he'd been shut down. There was no arguing with the man and there was no father/son bonding between them. Not since his mother was gone. It had been years since she had disappeared and yet his father was still holding that against him. Just because he had her eyes and hair. Just because he reminded his father of her so much. He was so easy to blame. So easy to punish for her disappearance
