At 8:30 PM, Meera strode into the café, and I waved to get her attention. She responded with an eye roll, dropping her purse onto a spare chair and settling in with an irritated expression.
"Hurry up. I need to go somewhere," she snapped, her teeth working on a piece of gum as her eyes remained fixed on her phone screen.
Clearing my throat, I plastered on a smile. "Here's the list I compiled, and I've already ordered the samples. We need to taste them to decide which items we prefer and then place the order for the upcoming event."
